Equipping Zambia’s Teachers in the Social Dialogue Framework

NAQEZ held a Two-Day Training at Mika Convention Centre that brought together UNESCO Representatives, Teaching Service Commission, Ministry of Education, the Independent Schools Association, the Ministry of Labour and the Teaching Council of Zambia. The training was based on the background of the advancement of the teaching profession in the country through the National Framework on Social Dialogue for Teachers in Zambia. The workshop trained teachers on the legal and policy contexts, strategic objectives of the dialogue framework, measures and indicative activities and co-ordination and financing of the framework. It is quite evident that learning never ends-Even for teachers!
