NAQEZ Empowers Journalists in Creative Writing Skills
11/12/2022The much-adored Zambian local music superstars; Bflow and Mwiza Zulu took the lead in a creative social media campaign, “22 by 24”. This is a campaign that seeks to raise national awareness about the funding gaps in the education sector and the need to increase the budgetary allocation. The program featured important sentiments shared by the Executive Director of NAQEZ, Mr Aaron Chansa, and a panel discussion on the challenges and barriers to accessing quality education by girls in rural areas.
It is quite evident that there is a need for the government to enhance the delivery of quality education by increasing the level of funding from the current 10.4% to 22% as outlines in the SADC Protocol on Education.
